I'm probably too late, but I'd take a couple of boards to help the continuation. I haven't done any SMT yet, so through hole would be preferrable.

Welcome hello welcome to the forum HMK ! Thanks for your response. All may not be lost BUT right now it's a pretty bleak fuuture for the Bass ++. But not to worry, look around here and you will find so many brilliant and useful projects. Thanks a lot for the warm welcome, State Machine!

I have been browsing the forum for a few weeks, and already found lots of good projects I'd like to try. electro-music.com has definitely helped to turbo charge my interest in electronics.
