thirteen

I wanted to play something based on 13. So the first line you hear is 13 notes.

I have high hopes for 2013. 2012 ended with my music being broadcast on an FM station near Allentown, PA. (Thank you times infinity, Bill Fox.)

Friday 13 was always a lucky day for me. You might say I have triskaidekaphilia (opposite of phobia). I have the highest hopes for 2013.

I wish a happy new year to all my friends at e-m.com and everywhere.

This tune was all done on my new Alesis Micron. There seems to be a little switch popping on the bass part. I hope that's not characteristic of the Micron. On the other hand, I'm used to having to work around some limitation or other on all my instruments.

I like it, it sounds like a fanfare for the 13-ness of 2013.

Let's hope that 2013 is by and large a better version of 2012.
