Searchable archive available here:

http://www.popsci.com/archives

I found this article ("Look and Listen") talking about the "new" Synthi AK synthesizer, among other things. Still digging around some...

Hmmm. I'm getting "PAGE NOT FOUND" when clicking on both those links. Maybe it's no longer available.

Just went there now and it worked.... not sure what to say other than suggest maybe checking your network settings? I had some DNS issues a couple weeks ago that made it so some sites worked and others just didn't... ??

I'm away from home using someone else's ipad. Clicking on both those links is giving me the same PAGE NOT FOUND message. Maybe this is an Australian thing? It's not a mac thing is it?

Definitely not a mac, thing, I use a macbook pro constantly.

I don't have a pad though, so....maybe can't run java or javascript or something?

I have an iMac at home. What seems to happen when I click the links, is it adds .au to the address and loads the not found message. It displays a red logotype: AUSTRALIAN POPULAR SCIENCE. it has links to the australian version of the site but no archive section can be found. I'll ask my son when I get home if he can figure out what's going on. Maybe someone else on this continent will click the links and post results in the meantime. Thanks for the reply anyway.

Oh, that's interesting. I wonder if you'd need to use a us based proxy to get at that stuff?

Maybe try to disable javaScript on the page, it does some trickery including browser detection to determine what to redirect to - not sure if it will still function then (does not look too bad here) .. but at least they won't track and spam you when js is off Wink

That's a little too neckbeard for me- I'm from the 60's! Laughing I'll ask my son about it when he gets home... although I'll have to endure the 'people over 40 shouldn't use computers' comment.
