Hi Yves.

I have few quotations about this module.

1. As i read and from what i understand The BS170 is only for the led lighting, correct?
It have nothing to do the main operation of this module?
2. can I use only with one section of the module for 2 vco's, If yes, do I need to buffer the output to control 2 vco's?
3. From what i read the gate works only with log mode, Can I use the gate mode with the Lin mode as well, if yes, how?
4. I want only one pot for both modules, but I can only find 1M Lin dual pot, is that ok to use?

My main goal is to be able to control 4 vco's with the Dual gate slew module.

I thank you in advance,
Isak E.

Hi Isak

1. Yes it is correct.
2. Yes you can and it's not necessary to buffer the output for two VCOs
3. I made the LIN slew not gated intentionally because it does not work correctly. The gate FET in linear mode happens to operate as a current source/sink which interfere with the slew function, this is why I deactivated the combination of the LIN mode and the GATE mode.
4. There are dual log pots (www.musikding.com) if you use linear all the slew range will be concentrated in a very short run of the potentiometer wiper, acting more like an ON/OFF than a continuous adjustment.

Another question if I may please...

I'm gonna use the module with midi to cv, do you maybe see any problem, maybe I need to buffer the output of the midi to cv before going into the module?

This what gonna use with your module.

Thanks again.
