i FINALLY received my order from Elettrorama...

i bought one of these:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/129530852/wp20-synthesiser?ref=shop_home_ active

it's really cool and i wasn't familiar with this little synth till a few months ago.

was wondering...
anyone else here familiar with this thing?

it seems to work great but the CV input does not seem to be doing anything.
gate works great.

does anyone here know what the CV input on the WP20 is actually supposed to do?
apparently it does NOT control pitch.

i asked them some questions but there seems to be a bit of a language barrier and i am not getting sensible answers...

thanks for any help!

I haven't built this whole synth but I've breadboarded a couple of circuits from it. First, what are you using as a CV source? Given the power supply I wouldn't feed it anything over 9v, and I would avoid negative voltages. According to the documentation the CV input should in fact alter the oscillator pitch. If you are comfortable opening up the unit, the input jack should be wired into pin 1 of an lm3900 quad Norton amplifier (ic3 of the schematic) via a 100k resistor.
Anyway, good luck, and I hope this helps.
