Is there any interest in an advanced ChucK course as an extension/followup of the Coursera IPMDA course by Ajay Kapur?
Since we cannot use the Coursera infrastructure we have to find a workaround.
Videos (Screencasts) can be put on YouTube/Vimeo, Music/Sounds und Soundcloud or others. We just need a central hub for sharing and distributing all the informations around that course.
I've started a Google group for further discussions, since the Coursera course and forum might close soon. Feel free to join and contribute.

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/advanced-chuck

But I'm sure it could be done and is worth the effort.
Some topics for some advanced lessons might be:
Advanced synth design (FM, Granular..)
Remote control using Midi/OSC
Live-coding
Algorithms for music (Cellular automata, Chaos, Neural Networks, Genetic Programming..)
Music theory (Scales , Chords, Pitch Classes, Chord Progession)
Music Forms (Canon, Fugue, Blues, Raga, ..)
Rhythm
.......

Not sure if you mean 'this here' or 'that there', but just wanted to let you know that we are not closing down anything here. So feel free to use this forum for the purpose.

I meant the Coursera course forum not this one here. I've edited
my post to make that more precise (hopefully).
Great to have this forum for discussion on Chuck. I've setup
the google group for discussion about the advanced course stuff only
and do not intend to hijack your forum for this purpose.
