Hi guys!I'm making a VCO using schematic from LM13700 Datasheet. I am not sure about the supply in this circuit... Can I supply +9 DC this circuit ? it can work in the same way as the circuit supplied with double voltage? Thanks a lot.

welcome Frederico

This circuit really needs the dual supply ...

Yes but... my sequencer voltage range is 0 to 9 Volt... and I don' t know how to get Fout= 220 Hz when I feed 0 V the CV and Fout=15Khz when I feed CV with 9 Volts ... any ideas?

The basic idea to converting a dual-supply design to single-supply is to make every point that was -V Ground (0V), and make every point that was Gnd one-half +V, usually called Vref or sometimes (erroneously,) "Virtual Ground." There are exceptions: Generally inputs and outputs can remain referenced to true Gnd.

It might be a good idea to first try the conversion on the simpler single amplifier VCO in the LM13700 datasheet. Thomas Henry used it in his Bass++ project.

Thanks richard! I will try it! by the way , the relation to find Ic will be different , isn't it? I mean,

it's not:

Ic=(Vc-(-15))/30k

But:

Ic=Vc/30k

or I'm saying something wrong?
