does ChucK support formant synthesis? that stuff sounds cool!

does ChucK support ReWire? I might need it.

how does ChucK make drums? do I have to use samples? I'd rather create drums from scratch. Do you have any physical modelling for that?

1) Yes, try STK import VoicForm Generator: http://chuck.cs.princeton.edu/doc/program/ugen_full.html#VoicForm

2) No, but you can find some workflow to integrate chuck with your DAW. I found this one for myself: http://jkant.blogspot.it/2013/12/chuck-external-instrument-for-ableton.html

3) Yes. You can use classic synthesis tecnique or STK generators

Coming from csound, the feature that made me embrace chuck was the ease of time control and manipulation.

Ciao Smile
