Hi,

I know that you can make a song entirely by sampling basslines, leads, drums and synth sounds from other songs but I'm not sure why someone would use a sampler if they compose music with dedicated instruments that someone would have in their studio.

Could someone give me an idea as to why someone would use a sampler in the studio if they have instruments that they use to make music? Please try to keep it relevant to hardware samplers.
