Last night I wrote:

"This one is an example of knowing when to quit.

I liked the way it sounded with just two parts but felt like I should add more.
I tried a few experiments but none of them actually added anything.
So, in an uncharacteristic display of tasteful reserve I stopped.

By not adding unnecessary parts I have not diluted the effects of the necessary parts.

I hate cliches, but sometimes less really is more."

but this morning I added a track.
