Today is my 62nd birthday. Getting old sucks. I can't do all the things I used to do, including play guitar. But I can still coax a tune out of my synthesizers.

This one starts with a Microbrute sequence.

The three sets of "strings" are Microkorg, the first two quantized on the Microsampler and the third just played by hand.

For the last two parts I dusted off my old PSR-520 rompler. I couldn't find sweet enough sounds on the other boards and then remembered "transform" and "xenon pad" on the PSR.

Happy Birthday A E J O T Z, congratulations, you're approximately twice my age! Don't you worry, things will get better for you; you just need to have confidence in yourself and believe~...sure that's easy for me to say, but I wouldn't know the struggle. Why can't you play the guitar anymore? Skill level decrease or physically unable?

BTW, your "heartbeat" song is pretty mysterious and gives me a feeling that something is awry. It's like a detective theme, and you've done it rather well. Wink

Thanks, guys!

(TripMX, I don't play guitar anymore because of mild arthritis; mild, that is, until I play guitar. The more I play, the slower and stiffer my hands become. Playing organ-like keys doesn't seem to bother me at all.)

Ohhh, I see I see! Have you tried using any type of lotion before playing guitar? Maybe it could change things.

This reminds me of the soundtrack for Chrono Trigger on SNES, but this is way, way better. Applause!
