Saw a movie last night with a band in it playing music, not polka but instruments like that, merry music with a touch of sadness, just like the movie itself was. I don't remember any names, podcast syndrome I guess.

Anyway, it counted in sixes, it used gypsy notes, and it was pretty fast and here is an implementation for your 'polska machine' (I like it even better than 'draat breyn' (as it;s called now) maybe).

To make the thing I used :

- Tim's up/down thingy with Howard's mods & then felt free.

- Rob's warmth trick, with a stereo twist.

- The frequency shifter drums trick I learned on SOS today.

For some reason occasionally, certainly not often, the band has to stop for getting beer (or something). The amount of beer needed can be controlled a bit with the 'beer brea..' control (global A3), but it's pretty erratic nonetheless - I'm not even sure it works at all.

A1 and a2 are the Blue and Hell controls respectively - where Blue is un-warm and Hell is more bass. I learned today, or yesterday maybe, that I should have also done some low mid (or high low) lifting, but life sucks, today.

Jan.

Nice one, it reminds me of a fietswiel now and then, but in a pleasant way.
This is a circular sounding noodle to me.

And again i love the inpredictable controls, mostly the Hell parameter

Hey Zappa is creeping back in - I think it was on a Divid Letterman show that he played bycicle

What do you mean by that Wan ? Just because it reminds you on a bycicle wheel or ?

Nice weirdo stuff jan, I like this!

just one little tiny remark...
Thanks for assigning knobs for us keyboard owners, but you've assigned the wrong ones I think?!
I see the morphs in slot B have assignments, but you've placed the morph groups from slot A on the front panel
which have no assignments (at least i don't see any, or is there some blue hell magic going on here? scratch )

ohh, as a belgian I've to say, "the beer break" is a great idea!! Smile

Thanks, yes it's a mistake indeed - the knobs should have been assiged in the global space ... I would probably have noticed on a G2K :-)
