A short expression of lamentation for Bob Moog.

Realized in real-time on the G2.

Hi. I thought "Lament Without Moog #1" was
really beautiful. Just listened to in now. I like
how it grows and swells in certain parts, and the
subtle electronic voice that comes in near the
end is erie. Really expressive piece.

Hauntingly beautiful, Howard! Your use of the vocoder is exceptional and quite musical.

I truly enjoy this piece of music. The shifts in tonality (atonality) are beautiful and I love the vocoder (who doesn't love a good vocoder??) I'll be seeking out more of your music.
Peace,
Aaron Collier

I hadn't heard this work.

This work conveys the feeling of loss at the passing of Bob Moog. The non-tempered intervals and the vocoded sections heighten the mood.

Excellent.

Excellent work! You certainly love those vocoders Cool

My favorite section is around the 1-minute mark when the swoosh of white noise is heard. Brilliant!
