Hey! That is an excellent link!

As for the White Noise stuff. I was and still is a big fan of the first White Noise LP. The later Vorhaus stuff is nice too, but still like the first one best.
How many have I heard? I think I have 4 (?) White Noise albums.

I've got the first two, but only the 1st one on a real old fashioned long play record. But definitely the 1st one had most impact on me, it started way back in the past as just one of those hippie albums, but it has lasted. Can't think of any other that did, well, some Gong flying teapot stuff happened to end up in my car last week which was quite nice as well.

Anyway, I liked all those variations on the Doctor Who thme on the last site I linked to. One of the top most is a collage drome voice fragments and it really stands out, it's traditional in a way.

Yeah. KLF stands for Kopyright Liberation Front (sic).
A bit like a cross between Negative Land and mashups except on the sort of budget number one hits gets you.

I sugest you read up on them if you are interested in this colage art/sampling/etc thing.

Oh, and I'll borow you my record, no problem.

Yes- wow. thats a lot of fun Smile

I stumbled across this site too- you may like to take a look. It has lots of free downloads including pdf files to read;

http://www.ubu.com/

take a look at the 365 days project link too- there is some totally twisted stuff in there including this copyright-free track by Henk Baddings (who I now know was the real pioneer of electronic music in Holland imno Smile )

Well what-do-y-know?, 3 years on and we're all repeating ourselves!

I had this theory the other night (after a prolonged session of fortified honey wine and moseley marijuana Cool ) that the reason we all like a good space echo is because life is based around a series of echoes that repeat and die away to nothing- so these links will all fizzle out in the end and will be replaced by more echoes that will repeat and die away.....

OTOH, "They're coming to take me away, haha, heehee- to the funnyfarm where lots of men in white coats........." Shocked Laughing
