Ring Modulator Module

Here's a quick technical description of how the Ring Modulator works: The A In and B In inputs are applied to a NAND logic structure that essentially performs a binary multiplication of the input signal to the output signal, Mod Out. This module will soon be available in our store.

It is very easy to use the Ring Modulator module. Just connect VDD and Ground, then apply two signals to the input and the output pin (Mod Out, pin 5) contains the ring modulated binary signal.

Ring modulation is nothing more than the multiplication of the two input signals. It produces interesting audio effects and can be inserted into many synthesizer circuits with pleasant results.
