welcome party!

yes people do use this forum, though I haven't been very active when it comes to music lately.

great track! reminds me of Animal Collective, especially the vocals but also the tapestry of sounds.
a tapestry that has fluctuating colors and moving patterns and is easy to get lost in.

It probably wants even more than that. Confused
It wasn't like that before, but I already have an account anyway.
Let's see if embedding still works:

Wow, the forum is alive! Thank you for listening. I know it's wild, and I love when rhythms go in and out of each other. Interesting that you mentioned Animal Collective it's a band I've loved for years and still come back to every now and then.

PHOBoS, I really like your work. It gives me strong Kraftwerk vibes, but also reminds me of Craig Leon

Kraftwerk you say, well thank you Very Happy
I don't know what you listened to but I wonder if it has something to do with the DIY drums and rhythms,
there's quite a bit of kraut in there especially the earlier stuff. I think Jan has compared some of it to Neu! before.
I am not familiar with Craig Leon (yet) so should probably have a listen.

I did quickly scan through some of your other tracks on soundcloud and I'll need to make some time to have a proper listen
because it all sounded great. Also heard some more Animal Collective influences.

are you familiar with Dan Deacon ? colors

Could be! I want to know more about your DIY drums and gear. Neu is also a good comparison, maybe not the early Neu-stuff, which is more focused on drums, guitar, and that classic "krauty" drive.

You should listen to this record it's one of my all time favorites: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyT9SLw9WUM

Dan Deacon was a big inspiration for me back in 2010 when I discovered the album Bromst.
