First a look out of the window - nice, eh?

A first overview - note the incredibly clever and absolutely never before seen wordplay on the back of the Wavestation. Smile

My "workplace" - shot from another angle. Imagine heaps of candy wrappers, important documents, ashes, tobacco and all kinds of stuff for the "real feeling"... Wink

The Keyboards from the top: Roland Juno 6 (resting in peace, sadly), Roland Alpha Juno 2 (the younger brother - still alive) and the Yamaha PSS 790 (that was my very first keyboard - I went for "cheapest possible", but still use it as an expander from time to time.

The Behringer Eurodesk Mixer, and above the rack, in the shelf, Boss DR660 and my old Roland MT32 - my first synthesizer ever.

From the Top: Fadermaster, Novation Basstation (and K2000 Peripherals), below the K2000 - lovely synth, even if I barely played it yet, then the Midiman 4x4-USB-adaptor, then a Boss SE50 and a Boss SE70 (FX Processors), Novation Drumstation (emulates 808 and 909), Waldorf Microwave (what else with that ugly design? Wink) and last but not least the very Roland Vintage Synth expansion I bought from Fin last year. Smile

Guess what I'm watching right now? btw - I wonder what it tells about me that I smeared all over my keyboard with a waterproof marker... Sigh...

thanks for sharing these pictures with us: nice, cozy place you got!
On the back of the Borg Wavestation I see something that looks like a dishwasher. I am quite sure you use it as an echo chamber Exclamation

Oh - and cozy it has to be, since I'm spending 99% of my spare time on that chair right now, allmost never watching any TV anymore (rather creating my own program on the computer via EDonkey downloads, exploring the big world of international TV and movies out there... Smile)

BitTorrent? Don't knolw that one.

EDonkey is a Peet-to-peer client for both the Overnet and the EDonkey networks.

Music you'll find too, but actually it seems to be mostly ripped DVDs, TV series and Anime Fandubs today. Smile

The practical thing with EDonkey and it's numerous clones like EMule is that there's pages like www.sharereactor.com out there that feature huge ammounts of sorted and rated links for it, so you can browse there allmost like on Amazon, choosing the illegal downloads you want with a really nice interface. Smile

Great pics. Give us a better feeling for what it's like where you are. I'm impressed that you cleaned up for the photos. I clean up for nothing. Laughing

I visited Bonn once in 1965. We had a reservation at the Eagle Hotel. We jumped in two or three taxis and the drivers said there was no such place in Bonn. Finally one said, "Oh, you mean the Hotel Adler." When we got there, it was pretty late at night and the elderly lady that ran the place said that they we were full; our room was given to someone else because we were so late. She could see, I guess, the great disappointment on our faces and she felt sorry for a couple of 18 year kid travelling through Europe by themselves. So she said, very quietly like she didn't want anyone to hear, "Well, we have one room that is very special. We don't rent it out. It used to be the room of a university student that became very famous when he was a student. Do you know who that was?" Well, my mind only came up with really bad guys from 20th century German history. I was really spooked, but did the tactful thing and said simply, "No". She said with a gleam in her eye, "On the top floor at the corner of the building is the room where Albert Einstein lived. You can stay there tonight." That was such a thrill. I didn't sleep much.

I don't know why I told that story, except that it is about being in Bonn.

Kruge do not do it Exclamation
I have the microphone for you:
Quote:
The Loco uR is the only 45 V phantom powered waterproof microphone specially designed to handle the high sound pressure levels and the high static ambient pressure in dishwashers and other house appliances. The hydrophone uses a piezoelectric sensing element, which is frequency compensated to match the special acoustic conditions under water. A 10m high quality audio cable is vulcanized to the body of the Hydrophone and fitted with a standard 3-pin XLR. The output is electronically balanced and offers more than 100dB dynamic range. The uR Hydrophone is the ultimate choice for professional sound recordings in dishwashers or under other extreme conditions where conventional microphones would be adversely affected. Use it on water sport, film shoot or broadcast for effects with great results.

Isn't fantastic Question
and not only that: imagine the success of your next album titled
LIFE AND DEATH INSIDE A DISHWASHER Very Happy

Goodness, your setup has numerous parallels to mine. Your Juno 6 to my Juno 60 (do feel free to let me know if that is being liquidated, by the way), your Alpha 2 to my Alpha 1 (ditto), we both have 660's, lot's of fun. I just dont have as much gear. I am a simple man.

And that reminds me...

I dont have the manual for mine, and for the bloodly life of me, I cannot figure out how to assign the kicks to Individual Out 1 and the Snares to Individual Out 2. I've literally been trying to figure this out for years and am frustrated to silliness. If you can shed some light on this, I'll owe you a chilidog, and I'll even spring for sauer kraut, cheese, and sour cream. Perhaps a beverage too.

It's this newfangled unified cognitive hyperthreading thingamajiggabobbersnapper where multiple conversations are actually going on in multiple dimensions, simultaneously and polydimensionally, and what you see posted here are the projections of those conversations into ours, as the three dimensional projection of a four dimensional hypercube, the tesseract, so those conversations are cast upon the human hive mind- the Internet®, here, at electro-music.com.

Thank you.
