This is a trick question, right?
Logic Pro opens all of the "lower" versions of Apple's range of software. Since you have at the low end, Garageband, which is openable in Logic Express, which is simply a feature starved version of Pro, you can open Logic Express files in Logic Pro just by opening them. You can open Garageband files in Logic Pro, according to Apple. I've not used it, but this is consistent with Final Cut, which I do own and use. Final Cut has the same kind of grading of product functions. The files are totally upward compatible. _________________ Garret: It's so retro.

sorry my prob was different, it is juse because the logic pro I tried to use to open my files is logic pro 6, and my logic express is 7.2.
I heard they are not compatible, that's why it doesn't work...
Thank you |

Well that's odd because I've opened all my Logic files made on Pro 6 (PPC) in Express 7.2 (Intel) I have exactly the same configuration, and have no problem (apart from a few missing plug-ins)
Is there anything else you may have done wrong?
edit- are you saying Express 7.2 to Pro 6? The definately wouldn't work. 6 to 7.2 yes. _________________ ACHTUNG!

Right, Garageband->Logic Express 7.latest->Logic Pro 7.latest works great. LP7 or LPX7 to L6 won´t work. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"
