Hello everyone! |
 |
|
I just came across this forum when looking for specialized places to talk about the WIDE world of Electronic music.
I need to broaden my horizons and would love to hear some famous artists and even compare notes - so-to-speak.
I have started out with just doing remixes but now I'm moving to my own originals. I'm pretty excited about my works so far and hope to share them some day with the world.
Hope to get some awesome friends.
laterz for now. _________________ Life ends before you ever knew it existed.

Thankyou Seraph and Elektro80! I love this place already. So friendly!
My other website is still in the works. I just may get my new web server running with the help of a friend and I can put a whole website up for all my arts. It's so exciting to know what you can do on the internet. I don't even have to publish my stuff to get it out there.
I plan to make a site including art, music, stories and even a game created with all that combined into one.
It's a huge project I'm working on. I love to chat about it. I think I have my emails on but I'll check my profile to make sure.
Let's chat and have some fun. _________________ Life ends before you ever knew it existed.

HEY! Yes.. chat about it. And you might have some fun digging around in the older threads here too.
Hmm that project of yours.. what
is actually the main idea.. the concept? _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

I'm exploring this forum right now.
As for my project. My brother gave me this idea.
I love to write stories, draw pictures of people and compose music. Everything of mine is well versed for computer games as he said. So I plan to combine them all as one. The game is finished. The pictures are on their way. The music is all ready. ----almost---
But when I get the site going I plan to put it all out there for an online role playing game of simple nature. Free of charge.
I just need to get someone to help me do Javascript and all that weird stuff. There's just so much going on. I can't wait. _________________ Life ends before you ever knew it existed.

That sounds like a good idea. I dunno much about games though.. I never play computer games.
BTW: Who is Nobuo Uematsu ?
I have seen that name mentioned around here recently. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

Nobuo Uematsu:
He recently performed at the new L.A. Concert Hall. (Beautiful Building but radiates heat) He performed and composed all the music for the first nine "Final Fantasy" games by "Squaresoft". It was an amazing moment for concert history in the U.S.. The first ever performance of Video Game soundtrack. He's Japanese and I got to attend his concert. (My all time dream)
Unfortunately not many are excited about this like I am. It's kind of an insult to the general public. _________________ Life ends before you ever knew it existed.

I'm sorry to hear that....
That was Hollywood, not Squaresoft's best work at all.
It's all good though. When "Final Fantasy: Advent Children" comes out, I'll try to locate a copy for you so you can see the real "Final Fantasy" _________________ Life ends before you ever knew it existed.

What is Final Fantasy: Advent Children? A game? Another movie? I found the Final Fantasy movie to be quite decent and pretty interesting. How the movie relates to the game.. well .. I have noo idea. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

I guess I will have to learn to cope with games. I am supposed to do the sound design and the music for a game a friend of me is making. It is based on his own game engine using shockwave 3D. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

It's a movie. They lost a lot of money because the movie didn't lead up to the expectations of fans so they will send us a DVD copy of this movie. So they wont lose as much money this time.
The movie's music and magical aspects was nothing like the games. Nobuo Uematsu didn't compose it's music. Though... FF:Advent Children is "Squaresoft" without Hollywood. (I hope) I'll still point you there if you like?
Download the trailer if you like:

Sadly, I have never played FFXI or FFVII. I have heard they are great games nonetheless. Currently I can't play any mmo's that have a fee attached (my mom is to blame for that ) But anyhow, I have played FF1, FF2, FF6, FFTA, and FFX. I think they're all great.
I do know that is sephiroth in your avvy, correct?
I love to get my Role Playing on... _________________ Whoah! That sig was old. It's now under construction. |

It sure is my avy. His final theme will be more national anthem .
Yes VI and X were great. I will never forget Kefka and Seymour. They have such personality conflicts that I bet they'd kill themselves first. _________________ Life ends before you ever knew it existed.

I've never really played a Final Fantasy game - totally missed the boat somehow - played Phantasy Star to death on my old Genesis. Just didn't get one of the FF games when I had my Playstation - and now I'm on XBOX. However, Morrowind on XBOX is an amazing, amazing game (better on PC).
I just picked up Gothic II for the pc.
I've played a ton of RPG's over the years... |

I'm too old to have had any games like these in my childhood, but my kids had them. I enjoy the music to many of them. On early one called Zelda had really nice music.
I can see how you could be a fan of this music.

Thanks Mosc.
I'm starting to fall in love with the Myst series. Very interesting electronic music that just sounds so out there and unique. They have four games for the PC. I loved Riven the best out of all of them. _________________ Life ends before you ever knew it existed.

My wife and I have been playing Myst URU for the last month or so - completed the four ages of Uru Prime - but haven't finished the last bit yet. We'll start digging into the free expansion shortly and I'm planning to pick up the final expansion when it releases later this month. Myst IV due this fall...
Riven was very impressive. |
