Hi, better late than never. |
 |
|
Hello everyone, a bit late but here is my formal introduction.
My name is Ian Sayer, synthesist, programmer, sound engineer and wannabe composer.
I would like to introduce ‘the avatar kids’. Eden (just turned 5), his brother Jack (3 ½) and sister Elise (2 next month). They will be joined by little brother Liam in October.
Sorry about the lame tag ‘G2IAN’ but it’s hard to get good, unused names from Yahoo when you are in a hurry, all the good marsupials are taken. |

Hello!
I would like to hear some tunes of yours, if you have any online.

Hello. How about rodents are they all taken?
That was probably a very bad joke. Sorry about that
Congratulations. I'd be scared to death of them but that's only me. _________________ Life ends before you ever knew it existed.

Beautiful children; congratulations.
Ian has contributed a lot to the Clavia forums and has posted some great patches.

Thanks everyone.
My kids are treasures but I have removed them from the avitar. A beautiful mid winter day today so we all went into the Waitakere Ranges for a ‘rain forest’ nature walk to see the giant Kauri tree’s. I will post a link here to some decent photos in the future, when I finally get my own space on the WEB. Funny, I do a little DHTML and ASP development work but don’t have a personal web sight.
Rat’s are cool (I was born in the year of the Rat) but I imagine that’s even more overused than Wombat (my personal favourite for user names).
I am looking for a good, inexpensive (4 channel in PC) recording option (fire wire or USB2.0) at the moment. I would be willing to pay a little more if it came bundled with an ac3 or dts encoder.
As far as I know, nothing survives on tape from my distant analogue past. Maybe an old friend has something on cassette, ready to embarrass me when I least expect it.
I would like to do gallery style, interactive installations in the future. Using the G2 midi out modules to control lighting, cybernetic performers etc. Maybe when the kids get a bit older. |
