Well...I 'finished' it sort of.

It was a learning process. I learned a little more about working with acrylic plastic window stuff.

The next one will be better!

Should I paint the case yellow, and put Civil Defense stickers on it?

I got the case at Hobby Lobby for about $12.

I put one WSG and my soundlab in it, with some spaces left for the fine-tuners, and possibly the 1v/oct module.

It's nice to see what you've been working on, Chrometuna! Thanks for posting the pics!

So how's it sounding?

The soundlab sounds fine. I havn't got the 1v/oct module finished yet. (I took a little break from that to work on the case) And I need to do the fine-tuners mod.
But I am also re-thinking that maybe I should just finish up my newer soundlab: The CB on that one has the places for the 1v/oct stuff, so I might just use that one for the 1v/oct...and could'nt I patch one SL into the other and NOT have to use a 1v/oct fine tune and mod on that one? Because I could find a tuned and kosher gate/CV signal coming off of the first soundlab (As though I had them chained together?)

Funny thing though: the WSG worked fine when first stuffed into the case, then I took it out to do some stuff, and when I stuffed it back into the case, it decided it wasn't going to work any more! But I think I probably shorted or mashed some wires when I stuffed it back into the box. I just havn't had the time to check it out yet.

I'd also like to find a mod I saw somewhere (But can't find now) that allowed the WSG to be used as a noise source for the SL? Any help on that? Or locating the post that talked about how to do that?

I am also thinking that NOW, I should put in some kind of simple mixer into this particular case so that I have ONE audio out-put that I can mix the levels on both the SL and WSG.

Subject description: Found some cool toys for bending or robbing of parts

So I went to the goodwill store looking for things to use as WSG or Soundlab cases.....and I found these fun cool noise making toys!

I found this one that had a bunch of LEDs in it, and figured I'd use the LEDs for my WSG...but i got it home, and discovered that this toy is WAYYY too cool to just rip apart! The touch screen part has me fascinated!
So how to integrate this into my WSG or Soundlab?

Video of it:
