Looks simple and can be build in several ways using touch plates, Switches or a scanning Keyboard Matrix as shown in the schematic...

As far as i remember Ian Fritz also had a Keyboard CV/Gate circuit... but his side seems to be down at the moment... (i hope it's just temporarely)
