Hello, just a quick introduction. Subject description: introduction |
 |
|
Hello, New to this site. Been reading it a bit and decided to join.
I've been into music for many, many years. Began playing with electronic/experimental music way back when Commodore 64's and midi ruled.
Got away from it for many years, and went mainly into acoustic stuff.
In the last year, I got bit by the electronic/experimental bug again.
These days I am mainly into playing with an electric violin through stomp pedals, etc. and playing along with drum machines, synths, etc.
Anyway, looks like a great resource for info here.
Thanks! |

Welcome.
Violin and cool stomp boxes are an awesome combination.
As long as I don't play the violin LOL |

| I guess I need a little social refinement. I'm most definitely a noob in that way. Anyways, apologies to fiddlecaster and the other members. Maybe I should read instructions before I start, eh? |

It's all good saintoad23.
It's pretty laid back around here.
Not many people on here looking for a stupid reason to criticize others to make thimselfs feel big.
That's why I like it here.
Just people with common interests. Enjoying and learning from each other.
I'm always glad to see new guys poste.
Especially DIY guys.
I hope you and fiddlecaster both feel as at home here as I do. |

WOW.
Electronic violin??!??!? I've heard of it before, but I thought it was something so rare that no-one played it. Thats awesome bro!
Do you have a link to your tracks (If you've record any), I'd LOVE to hear what it sounds like! |

Great stuff! I can tell you are a grown-up and have had music lessons.
Seriously I like it, especially how you sometimes detune. It would be great to jam with you sometime. _________________ --Howard
