Doctorvague, There´s a Modcan B-series module on one of your pics I don´t recognize. It´s the small one with pushbuttons and four jacks on. Placed left of the other Modcans. What´s that?

Actually, I made some 1/8" to banana cables that I use all the time. Sometimes I have to use a 1/4" adapter on those if I want to use my Mobius or take the clock out from the CR-78. With an interface panel and a good supply of adapter cables, using bananas is not a problem.

This is one of the most amazing threads I have ever seen in my life.
I am just sad that some of the pics are gone.
Too bad there isnt a better way to preserve such things,
instead of referencing external links and files.
But for the pics that are here again I have to say they are some of the most breathtaking ever, thank you for documenting them.
This thread seems historical in its own right.
Take good care of them !!!

Just some brainstorming ...

Pictures could be added to the gallery maybe ...

If I'm not mistaken it is possible to set up a gallery to which many people can add pics. Also it might be possible to then include those pics in the thread here with the img tag, as in

[img]http://electro-music.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=4252&g2_serialNumber=1&g2_GALLERYSID=d033cea0e763b756704aafed8860c187[/img]

Damn that doesn't work Crying or Very sad

Maybe it could be /made/ to work if people see something in a solution like this. It would be a bit more work of course Very Happy

OK, here's a big synth:

A Roland System 700 with two Synthesizers.com cabinets on top. It is a long reach to the top but still workable...

Good eye Henrik! I was wondering if anyone would ask. After buying the Modcan dual quantizer I suggested a completely different method of scale quantization to Bruce who immediately jumped on the idea. That's an understatement - he took the ball and really ran with like I couldn't believe. The guy knows his stuff!! He immediately even had a panel layout for it (which I printed out and taped in the empty rack space) and a couple of days later he did a second double-space tricked-out version with a bunch more ideas. Great fun for me as I love brainstorming and watching him work was really something. I don't want to give too much else away as I'm hoping he'll actually bring it to market so I can buy one! I think he wants to, he just had other new modules in the pipeline. I love his new ideas anyway - that's the only reason I went 1/4" with a minijack system. It will be a very cool module if he does build it. I will probably want at least 2 of them. There may be something somewhere out there like this but I haven't seen it, and definitely not seen anything like it amongst the big 5 or 6 module makers.
Love the pics everybody
Cheers
Phil

My small new modular ... the thing at the top is a Filtered Coffee unit from Analogue Solutions, nice MS20 filter clone.

Wow, I've never seen one before.

I've used a VCS3 and AKS before and love them both to bits.

Very nice

VCS3 is a bit out of my financial resources these days.

But I'm seriously considering the Analogue Systems EMS Filter & Trapezoid modules to give me a sense of the EMS sound within my modular.

There are just so many new modules available these days it's a tough choice what to get and what to just have in my wish list.

Awesome. Not to mention the periphery: Buchla Music Easel (!), Synton Fenix with Serge Sequencer, and some Modcan A trailing off to the right....
