I know that the miniaudicle already has gui elements when you use a Mac, but I'm working on Windows XP (no Mac here). When will the miniaudicle get gui elements for Windows? Or is there a way to create your gui in Java and than use network commands to send commands to chuck? (I would like to build a gui that resembles the user interface of those old big analog sequencer beats)

As I understand the situation graphics are a area where OS's are very different so that explains why the sliders and buttons and so on are only there in OSX so far.

Java would work in the meantime, the best way is probably using OSC. Java has libraries for that like SwingOSC or you could considder prosessing (processing.org) which has it's own graphics libraries and also supports OSC and is based on Java.

Sounds like a cool project, do post updates!

Hm... In reality, this is pretty easy. you just choose a library that is known to be cross platform. Like the TK/TCL-one.
