Not a noodle, although I could listen to it for a looong time. It is sort of a self-demonstrating, early 70's synthesiser prf2. I have been distracted so much by the FM/Additive abilities of the G2, that I neglected the sort of sounds I truly love. Fat, juicy and analogue.
The little clicks in the mp3 come from my PC audio (I have a truly rooted Direct sound install) and cant even go to the settings dialog without locking up. In this case they give a sort of vinyl effect that I quite like.

You may wonder why the Minimoo4 patch has 4(4) voices allocated but uses the monokey module. I think that the voice allocation logic is layering the tails of consecutive notes. Whatever is going on, changing to mono (or legato as it should be for a real minimoog) mode does not sound the same.

You mean the guy on the left? I don’t think he is sweating.
Saw these guys live in 2003, they played in the techno tent. Man Machine @ 120dB, sweeeeet as.
They are a bit older now, the light show includes distracting reflections of the bald heads of three members but they are still as great as ever.
