Nothing wrong with that, unless you eat it of course ... maybe it's efficient?

hey!;

Quote:
Today, more lutefisk is consumed in Wisconsin than in Norway.

Norwegians buy more frozen pizzas per capita than any other nationality. They consume 13,000 tons of frozen pizza annually — an average of more than five and a half pounds of cheesy goodness for every man, woman, and screaming toddler.

so there you go. Pizza is more popular in Norway than Lutefisk is, unless of course you like lutefisk topped pizza?? Shocked Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

ok, finally if you ever come to London, we can drink together if you want. Aquavit rocks, depending on the Aquavit. Some are horrible, I'll feed them to you (I'll make them cold though). Some are absolutely yummy.

I have never tried Lutefisk. It is one of the things on my list of things to try that I have never tried before. Second on the list is beef tartar.

I realize that Lutefisk probably tastes horrible, however I somehow feel "incomplete" not having ever sampled it.

Speaking of food, today is Halloween and I am baching it (the rest of the fam is out of town). So, I went to the grocery store and got me a nice, 2" thick strip steak which I then grilled outside. For dessert I had ice cream with butterscotch and hot fudge.

Thus, I am feeling quite decadent this eve.

Having said this, I still want to try lutefisk sometime.

I'm open to the idea that I will LIKE lutefisk.

Never had marmite. Guess I'll add that to the list, too. Smile

I just started the following blog (it's not commercial, and it's directly related to this thread, so I hope posting it here is OK) http://foodsofnorway.wordpress.com

I'm posting "traditional foods" as well as "what they actually eat", so it's a food-anthropological thing.
