Well, it's finally here!!! After a year and half from my orignal posting of getting some modules I finally racked all my modules that've been boxed for some time (and never used sadly). I took some pictures for you to see of my small set up Wink It's important to note the powersupply for the rack can power up to 3 racks (daisy chained)!

If you want to hear samples of specific modules (that I have) let me know. I'll try my best to give a good example. Other's have given great demos of some modules posted on this site, but I could be here forever posting examples because I've barely scratched the surface with this combo. I'm currenly learning my way around all modules since I've never used them awaiting the rack's release. Bringing the S1 into play just opens more 'routing' doors/options. I have one empty space in the rack I'm not sure what I'll fill with yet.

For those curious I'm using the Kenton Pro Solo Mk1 for my Midi to CV sources. Depending on taste I'll either use one of my keyboards as a controller or a hardware sequencer to trigger the modular.

Let me know what you think or any questions.

Impressive setup!

I wouldn't mind some brief examples from NS-4. Especially, what kind of smooth random output can it make.

Well I recorded some samples for you tonight. They're all running through the MMF on the S1.

1st one is just noise as follows (MMF on S1 Open all the way):
S1 White, NS-4 White, S1 Red, NS-4 Red, NS-4 Pink. The 'Red' sounds different and deeper/lower in tone on the S1.

2nd sample is the S/H from the NS-4 (w/some reverb added, MMF on S1 about half way Open). This is feeding the Cutoff of the MMF. I took 2 oscillators from the S1 and used them to drive the Rate & Lag CV on the NS-4. I then adjusted the knobs on the NS-4 to taste. Only 1 oscillator (sawtooth) was going to the MMF of the S1 and that is what you hear 'changing'.

Let me know what you think. I didn't compress or eq these samples.

Thank you. I wonder, if NS-4 can make smooth random CV as demonstrated here:

I'm just curious, but has anyone else purchased the rack for use with their Cwejman modules?

Awesome Setup!
How does the 3 Band Parametric EQ compare with the Quad Resonator?

Thanks Cat! They have their similarties. They both have the same frequency range. With the RES-4 you do get that extra band and the Notch output. It really depends on what you want to do. You can really dial in frequencies with the VCEQ-3.

You need another module to take advantage of the FREQ, BW, LEVEL inputs on both modules. Either the D-LFO or another favorite the PH-4.
