Hi, I'm new to the site. For my first visit I thought I would share a new performance with you.

I wanted to try and recreate '70s Tangerine Dream style evolving sequencer riffs but it didn't really work on the G2 sequencers which don't have a skip function, so I created one myself.

I'll let you figure out how it works! Note that the sequencer syncs to the master clock and you need to set this to 58 bpm initially to work properly. If you change the tempo you also need to change the time setting on all the logic delays! The constant level switches control the on/off status of each step and the level knobs in the same modules control the pitch of each step. To work properly the constant levels must all be set to 0.5 or above otherwise the window switchews don't work as intended.

All the sequencer controls are assigned to paramater page A1 in slot A. Because the sequencer is a large patch I have got it controlling a synth patch in slot B.

Enjoy Cool

welcome Cannonball.

Nice patch. Sounds like TG to me. I'm not a TGhead, but I have friends that are.

The G2 sequencers do need a lot of improvments. A skip and jump function would be very nice to have.

Welcome to the forum cannonball.

Seems like you've been doing patches like this before - I'll have some figuring out to do :-)

Thanks guys.

I've been programming analogue synths for years and got my G2 back in May as soon as they were shipping in the UK. This is my most ambitious patch so far.

I'm going to work on some noodles so will post more patches soon.

Jan,

Have just posted one of my previous attempts at a noodle under Completed patches > Sequencer > Automatic noodles. Hope you like it.
