HMDX Go Speakers Subject description: Be an iPhone street musician... |
|
|
I found some nifty little speakers to use when you are out with your iWhatever and want to make some electronic music, perhaps with a friend or to pick up some change on the street.
These are HMDX go speakers. They are very light, run on 2 AA batteries and sound OK. They aren't really loud but loud enough for the purpose. You'll need the iPhone audio plug adapter and maybe an audio extension cord, but there is room in the built-in case to store them. There room for more, maybe your bluetooth headset.
At only $9.95 US, this makes it possible to be a street musician with your iPhone. You should get it to pay for itself in no time.
The pic is a little deceptive. That is two of them - one open and one closed.
I'm not sure, but it sounds like they mix the two stereo channels to one mono. That's OK. _________________ --Howard

i picked up one of these speakers. really nice. really good output. was travelling with mine a few weeks ago. played many guerilla shows in my hotel room. immediatism at its purist.
i feel wierd running my touch thru a pa. the size just warrants a small setup. makes sense to me. keep it mobile. _________________ pcrv.harshnoise.com

Yes, you can attach it to your hat, but I just hang my speaker off of a belt loop on my pants. Maybe attaching two to a hat is a good idea. You'd get 3 dB more volume and stereo too boot. _________________ --Howard
