hey guys,
i've loved looking at this forum for a while. recently i finished an original circuit. it features 3 4046 oscillators and 2 4040 dividers. one osc clocks the other two, which take VC modulation from each other, and the 4040 dividers working as a very primitive sequencer. i prefer this to ordinary sequencers, however, because the patterns are set by switches, not tuned by knobs.

let me know what you think! suggestions, improvements, etc.

Welcome aboard Very Happy

That looks and sounds really cool, nice work. The dronematrix looks like an interesting toy.

thanks guys.
i'm so glad you like the perf-board, DG. i used to think it was unclassy to have your circuits hanging out but i've really warmed up to it in recent years, especially if your layout is logical and neat. i wire point-to-point with bus wire and teflon tubing. there's actually a hell of a lot going on flip-side.

yours,
d

Let it hang out I say! no point making really nice electronics if you can't show it off Laughing

have you got some of the passive parts underneth as well? I swear I can't see enough on that board to be making it do the tonne of fun stuff you are doing!

Hey there Daniel, compliments on your video, it's pretty cool!

I'm pretty messy with my construction so your build inspires me to tidy up a bit, hehe.

And the drone matrix...super cool... the more i search around and read about it the more I want one, or to make something like it. Thanks for sharing.
