midi timeout with mac osx 10.6.2 snow leopard |

hi there. i'm trying to run nomad under mac osx 10.6.2 snow leopard to control a micromodular (3.03 os), i have the last version of nomad and the last java update, and everything seems to be ok except for the midi timeout message as following:
"net.sf.nmedit.jsynth.SynthException: net.sf.nmedit.jnmprotocol2.MidiException: timeout: 10000ms (net.sf.nmedit.jnmprotocol2.SynthSettingsMessage) [error=-1001]

i have tried with 3 diferents midi interfaces and the problem is the same. i think the main reason is the fact that i have the micromodular clock to internal instead external, but... how could i set to external if i could not access to the synth in the editor ? it is a fact that clavia editor do not run under snow leopard..... so, i do not know exactly what can i do...
any suggestions ? thanks and greetings from barcelona. |

My nord micro modular osx editor works under snow leopard. my nomad doesn't yet. I may try the latest java update. Do you know what version of osx editor you are using? |

I Use the first Intel Imac running snow leopard. A midisport 2x2 for my midi and the saffire pro 10's midi interface runs to my micro modulars "pc" input.
I use the beta mac editor. I have emailed that to you.
It does crash but I seem to able to work around it without to many grips.
I just noticed a discussion here about using the free tool virtualxp to run a virtual xp machine in osx running the pc version. I will try this tonight and get back to you on how hard or easy it is to setup and use.
here is the link to that discussion.

greetings from New Zealand.
here is a demo track I wrote using mostly micro modular patches.
