Hi,
I had a good idea of how to create a nice sound, and it worked pretty well! I am kind of new to sound synthesis, but for everything I have red or heard about it, no one ever talked about that trick.

I created a patch where I got two filters HP with resonance. Both filters are set exactly the same, then I take the output of one and I invert the phase then I mix both signals together, so there is no sound coming out. Then if you apply minor changes to one or both filters, the signal comes back again with cool harmonics!

Using the patch mutator I created that violin style sound without much work... I locked many critical modules so you can just go and randomize it to get a wide variety of sounds!

There is much more to do than that preset! I found the trick last week.

Nice :-)

Some diverse timbres seem possible ... on laptop speakers now though ... will try on bigger speakers later.

Has anyone ever heard of that technique to synthesize sound?
