Hi,

one question on the wavefolder pcb : What is the purpose of the second cv-input/In3?

http://yusynth.net/Modular/Commun/WAVEFOLDER/wavefolder-layout.jpg

CV1 = Control level CV
In2 = Audio Input
In3 = ?

Thanks and kind regards
Greg

Checking the pcb layout it looks like its an audio input directly to the second op amp (connects to pin 1 on U2a), ie. bypassing the initial VCA portion of the circuit.

Thanks iopop,

I was asking myself if I should add a jack to the panel for this,but it seems to be less interesting.

Thanks for reply! Wink

Kind regards
Greg

This was a test point I added for the sake of development. It was meant to check the output of the VCA. It is not meant for panel connection but one may use it if one feels like it.

thanks for reply,that´s very helpful. Seems like I really don´t need this on the panel...

And one more question, on another thread you said :
Quote:
Now I am not sure this will give a noticeable change in sound indeed while the offset mod will impact nicely on the sound palette. STG introduced this offset mod in his version of this wavefolder.

How to add this offset-mod to the wavefolder? Something mad or only a simple offset-voltage added to the circuit somewhere? Would you please be so kind and enlight me? Wink

Thanks and kind regards
Greg
