studio monitors??

Any thoughts anyone? I have KRK v6's plus woofer but really i need to upgrade

the v6 just insnt clean enough
i want something true so that my mixes are cleaner/more accurate

I got a pair of Yamaha HS80M monitors a few months ago when one of my Tannoys blew up. They are extremely clean, and have enough low end that I decided against adding a sub. Two thumbs up.

i have a bigger budget (lucky me eh?) so may go higher end

IMO it sounds very different compared to the KRKs. ... Also IMO better..

It is quite detailed and allows you to listen "into" the mix if you know what I mean?

Those newer Events are okay! For a bit more money try ADAM, Dynaudio, Focal...
