You have the v6 series 1 + one of the matching subs?

Why do you need to upgrade? scratch ..Or rather.. why is the v6 not working for you anymore?

I got a pair of Yamaha HS80M monitors a few months ago when one of my Tannoys blew up. They are extremely clean, and have enough low end that I decided against adding a sub. Two thumbs up.

The new reissue of the Event 20/20 ?
IMO it sounds very different compared to the KRKs. ... Also IMO better..

It is quite detailed and allows you to listen "into" the mix if you know what I mean?

Those newer Events are okay! For a bit more money try ADAM, Dynaudio, Focal...
