Hey guys, is it possible to make a building block for adusting saw waves's width. I think alphajuno have this osc algorithm (maybe the M5 too).
Please help Smile

The Shape Oscillator can do that. Or do you mean a different kind of shaping?

hey Chet, I'm talking about those alphajuno's type saw waves, like you could change the saw's width just like you change a pulse waves width. To create those Hoover bass drones Laughing Probably a building block using G2's osc B and changing those double saw's width.

The reason why I'm asking is that I saw an alpha juno1 at samash for $175.00 Smile

The modulatable saw from the Alpha Juno is not like the sophisticated ShapeB saw options, it is a regular saw, AM modulated by a PWM square of twice the frequency. It is SAW03 wave BTW, and can be selected in combination with the PWM rectangle. Unlike the rectangle which goes from 50-100%, the double frequency PWM used to chop SAW03 are modulated from 0-100%

This patch has a Alpha Juno SAW03 building block along with a PULSE03 and SUB00 mixed into a VCF VCA CHORUS ETC.

And if you're looking for a G2 patch that emulates the Alpha Juno hoover patch, have a look at this:
