Hi All!

I just joined this forum to let folks know that I've put together a 3D printed case and front panel for the terrific MFOS Noise Toaster. Might be handy for anyone with access to a 3D printer.

Check it out here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2418993

The front panel includes raised lettering, which will show up clearly provided you pause the print at the right height and change the filament. The case includes a 9V battery compartment and slot for a 1" diameter speaker. Everything you need!

I suspect I'll be back to this forum a lot now that my appetite for DIY synth has been whet. I'm currently weighing the Mark II vs Ultimate. Should be fun with my midi keyboard!

Meanwhile, here are a few photos:

Thank you for the kind welcome! The printer is nothing special, just an open source DIY kit on a shoe string budget. The filament is pretty standard, too. I used garden variety 1.75 mm PLA. I find the best way to get a clean print is to run at a very slow print speed. The case and panel did come out very clean, better than I expected. Looks sharp up close too.

Yes, very clean! I really like the raised lettering.

I have a 3D printer too, maybe we should compare notes?

Les
