Subject description: How much current do i want the power supply to give the vco-1

I am fairly new in electronics, but very exited.

The VCO-1 needs 15 volts, but how much current should the PSU give.

Would this be standard for a lot of Modular Synthesizers?

yes 150mA would do the job
not many modules of this kind need more than 25mA

youre welcome Smile

there are 3 main partys in sdiy
+/-15V
+/-12V
and +9V
if u have meant that by "standard"

so ur VCO need plus AND minus 15V

for the future u should consider something more powerfull, many obscure behaviors are coming from weak powersources

oh, i didn't realise that i would need both plus and minus voltage.

How could i go about this, is there any design that can turn my 15v power supply into a +/- 15 v. or would i need two?

use a second one
connect one ground with one +15V --> this is ur new ground

the remaining +15V is ur new +15V
the remaining ground is ur new -15V
