well, they are more kroko`n´M3abi connectors Very Happy , dunno if i saw them first with the guy with the CD fronpanels or with phobos, at least they are available here at the end of the world

Hello World is a Headphone Amp with variable output, and a non-variable "recording" output

Gabbi, that case reminds me of my very first modular case, made of whatever I had lying around Smile

yeah! this is what diy means to me,
first: do it your self - as much as you can
second: try to use the most common thing u have available || laying around
third: for me is recycle-ability, as iam usually not using "readymade" designs, a LOOOOOTTT can go wrong so this has become an important aspect to me

do you still using your case? and if not - why not?

build of the day: triple sec vca, the first attempt was faulty, but iam glad about it,cos i guess the second (this one) has "more power" Very Happy (did anyone knows/like tim taylor?)
i only tested it "by ear" today, and liked it, but i guess i have to change a resistor and oszilloskope-it before posting the schemo Smile

next will be a pot-powered-state-variable-filter if anyone has a killer-design and could tell me why, pleAZe let m3 kn0w!

damn solder-free weekends
cheers

Cool builds, guys!

Yesterday I did my first two modules of 2019: The NLC LPG (almost a Buchla clone) and the DU-KRPLS. I aalways forget to take photos. My LPG looks cheesy as F&%$ (with homemade double vactrol, insulated in hot glue, seems like a fucking luminous chewing gum attached to the circuit) , but sounds wonderful...

So Im looking for a dual one next Very Happy. Im realising that you can never have too much LPGs. I want to LPG ALL THE THINGS, LOL

I just finished a midi thru device. It is built in a simple desktop box, with a nice laser engraved frontpanel. It is working very well and looks awesome. It is somewhat based on these schematics: http://m.bareille.free.fr/midithrubox/midithrubox.htm

Gabbi how do your connectors work? The panels have males and the cables are females? Alligator clips?

Gabbi uses the same style as Phobos' Lunetta synth -- bolts for the panel connectors, and alligator clips to patch everything together, I think.

great builds guys Very Happy it's always inspirational to see.

I am not sure if I will build a lot this year but I did finish something. It's a jubjub that I made for muied lumens/robsol.
It's pretty much the same circuit I use in my "Solar powered tweeting birdhouse" but with an additional line output.
I forgot to make photos after finishing it before I send it out but rob was so nice to do that for me.

That first picture is from you, right? Even though it appears to be taken on the same piece of wood, I distinctly do not remember taking the circuit out of the casing to photo it. Shocked

It's a lovely gift, and also sounds very cute when there's not enough light to get it going, more like a robot than a bird. Very Happy

Buchla 291 Band Pass Filter, with mods by Scott Stites for low pass and high pass, plus input mixer. Rather odd, this one. I get better results patching an output back into Input 2 than I do from twiddling the Resonance, so I might try changing the resistor inline with that pot.

First build where I chose to use these trimpot style pots, seem to work well for input attenuators.
