With new os1.30 you can stop/run the clock with cc#80, but what about the tempo???????

us poor engine users have to play everything at 120bpm

cruel clavia help us please! A tap on a CC# should be easy enough for the G2 to deal with

we have a Master clock so we really need a CC# on the global channel to set the tempo for it.

Very important for us engine users

Ok, hands up;

Who likes droning ambient?
Who likes speedcore?
Who likes using electronic paterns to improvise live, following acoustical musicians?

A CC isn't going to cut it, at the very least you'll need a NRPN.
Much more interesting, IMHO, would be a module that would take just a input, then convert that value to a BPM for the internal MIDI clock; then you can build your own tap tempo as well as assign a CC to the range you need/expect or use a NRPM by using Rob's little trick for NRPN's.
