How do we run the strings'n'things sub-forum? Subject description: The moderator speaks - but not wisely |
 |
|
After minutes, nay, hours of lobbying, the powers that be have granted us string slingers a boon, namely this sub-forum.
What will it turn out like? I don't know, but having been asked to moderate, I have started thinking about good subjects to discuss, but it's mainly up to all practitioners of things stringy to provide grist for the mill.
There are already several threads up and running, and hopefully there'll be an increase, once more and more people become aware.
Anyway, thanks to the powers that be for asking me to become co-moderator along with Andy, I hope this will be a harmonic forum where we can get in touch with our strumming, picking, slapping and popping, not to mention clawhammering, sides. _________________ Where there are too many policemen, there is no liberty. Dude, I have *so many* topics to post, but many of them are reposts from guitar topics I've posted elsewhere and they've gotten lost in the forum archives. That, plus I just had to do a sleep apnea study which required lots of time consuming sleep. I'll try to post a bit more here as I've been wanting to post with fellow string-heads on electro-music.com. _________________ "Let's make noise for peace." - Kijjaz |

I had also thought about this, with maybe a sticky covering the sort of subjects that the sub-forum would cover.
I must admit I couldn't come up with anything that didn't seem to restrictive to me.
Now I know this is an Electro-Acoustic forum so as far as I can see we might as well be able to discuss anything string related.
