Hi ppl

i design a panel

and my wiring is based from this

there is something i dont understand.
why the pots are upside down ?
do i need to connect the pots like that?
PS if anyone wants this design just tell me and i'll post the full size. Smile

any help will be much appreciated.

For pots with round shafts it doesn't matter how they are oriented, with D type shafts it would of course ... likely the drawing was made with round shafts in mind.

Nice looking layout. What is the total size of the panel?

As for the pots being upside down. Another thought, sometimes it is easier to solider with the taps on the top.
