Banana Jacks

I am thinking about trying to make my Yusynth smaller by using 4mm banana jacks.

Do I just connect the signal outputs to them, and leave the ground unconnected?
Will this effect the quality of the signal?

If the modules are connected to the common ground (0V) of a power supply, just connect the inputs/outputs directly to your banana sockets;
If the modules are not sharing a common ground (0V) then you must add a banana socket for the ground of the module.

Because the levels in a modular is much higher than the usual line levels, the y are more immune to noise.
