I get clicks when either (or both) Attack or Release are at zero position. The documentation suggests to adjust the value of R14 to reduce glitch. Would it be advisable to increase or reduce the value? As we all know, home etched boards tend not to last too long when swapping out components, so I would rather get this right in one hit.

I'm also considering replacing R14 with a 10K cermet trim pot, would this work, and if so, would I need to tie the unused pin to the wiper?

As a matter of fact just try to rplace the 100 ohm resistor in series with the ATTACK pot by a slightly larger resistor (180 or 220 ohms) and see if the click is still there...
