Would be super grateful if someone could help me out here.
I've always noticed that the sounds coming out of the VCA always sound much louder than what I put in. So after recently getting an oscilloscope I've started to look at the waves and voltages. And putting the VCA output thru the scope I could see that it puts out a signal that's 21V peak to peak. Yikes!
Is there anything in this schematic that suggests such an amplification of the signal?

As I'd rather change some components on the pcb than putting a voltage divider to tame the hot distorted signal.

the hot VCA p-p values seem to be the same in this guys build blog. So it makes me think it's not unique to my build.

digging a bit deeper and checking the data cheat for LM13700, it looks like R83 on Rays schematic is seting the output voltage range. So will try put in a trimmer and see if I get different results.
