Greetings from BLC Productions |

Hi Everyone
I'm an attorney and indie industrial music label owner in Little Rock, Arkansas USA, soon going into our 3rd year and with a tremendous 2003 so far for BLC Productions, www.blcmusic.com. If you have comments or thoughts about our site, feel free to let us know. BLC is completely artist-oriented. Profit is entirely secondary to BLC as the credit and the biggest share of any profits SHOULD BE returned to the musicians. Without the artists, a label is dust -- more should remember this.
Extremely busy is the best way to describe our outfit at present. We've got a three-set of new releases over the last couple of months and a couple on the way. Current new releases include S.E.M;I, former tourmate of Hocico and Haujobb, with impenetrably-layered and driving beats as well as slippage into the dark netherworlds of past merged with the elektro-future of our planet, in debut release on our label, "Among the Ruins". (2) Injury, "Scars from the Past" -- elektro-industrial surgery on the warped corpus of Big Brother from Danijel Levatic of Croatia, featuring potent remixes from Funker Vogt, Pulse Legion, Flesh Field and more, several years of diligent craftsmanship by Injury in this hard-wired examination of the Big Eye that watches us all; (3) Agonoize "Paranoid Destruction" MCD -- the ruling bad guys of Berlin send out this 9-track disc for those who enjoy making the floors quake and light fixtures rattle, with remixes from S.I.T.D., PSI Corp and much more.
Coming up: The Pain Machinery, the "electroindustrialterrorists" from Sweden, releasing the debut disc "The Venom is Going Global" -- full contact and total power on this full-length from a band that has amassed a huge following that will be gratified to see TPM hit the forward stage of the industrial scene (now in production); and Interbreeding II: Industrial Mutation, a take-no-prisoners double-disc comp sequel to the more docile first Interbreeding (Interbreeding: Industrial Cyberlords, release 7/03), showcasing Generated X-ed, Tactical Sekt, Jerico One feat. Cubanate, Diverje, Infekktion, Skoyz, Void Kampf, ESR and scads more. Detailed tracklisting at www.blcmusic.com/interbreeding2.asp -- now in immediate pre-production and slated for release in about 2 weeks (approx 12/17). Pre-release orders at special pricing of $10 on this set. Make merry and buy several, we'll even toss in a freebie or two ) Unquestionably one of the top comps of the year!
That's all for now Vielen dank, my friend and Happy Holidays to you!
All the best,
Brandon _________________ Brandon / BLC4law@aol.com

Welcome Brandon! I see you carry a special breed of music. How do you handle the distribution? _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

Hi Elektro,
Thanks first for the welcome
You are right, obviously -- electro-industrial is a special breed of music, a minority genre but one with a dedicated and zealous group of listeners around the world. For instance, on our upcoming compilation Interbreeding II: Industrial Mutation, we will feature several bands from France (ESR, Void Kampf, Skoyz), and bands from Germany (Tactical Sekt, Agonoize), Croatia (Injury), Poland (More Machine Than Man) with a remix by a great artist from Italy (Syrian), Australia (Angel Theory, Stark), Sweden (Severe Illusion, The Pain Machinery) and others. Because industrial is a global music, there are independent labels around the world capable of networking for distribution purposes. We at BLC are quickly establishing some terrific links with labels everywhere in order to accomplish the true world distribution that is needed to reach the electro-industrial following. We've also entered arrangements with mailorder houses in Germany to distribute, and Metropolis Records here in the USA, as well as (importantly) our "brother" US label, DSBP Records, www.dsbp.cx, which has been around considerably longer than we have. Through these channels we are able to get our discs out and available to the public. There are other more "conventional" distribution angles such as Amazon (www.amazon.com in the USA) and CD Baby (www.cdbaby.com).
This is not to say that we have achieved our full goal in distribution, Elektro, new possibilities open up everyday. Our objective is a complete world presence. With the door opening for us everywhere, 2004 will mark some significant strides in this plan )
That may be more information than you wanted!
All the best,

Ahh... that was just what the doctor ordered. Interesting. Electro-industrial! Amazing what has happened the last 30 years. I imagined I had it all figired out.. but man has there been a growth. I am of course very familiar with the ( now very old ) names like Brian Williams ( Lustmord ), SPK and TB etc etc. since they started out pretty much around the same time I did. But all this new stuff.. man..! I had no idea. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"
