I just have two more question.
The dc socket has 3 pins on the back, could I just leave one pin empty since I only will use 2 cords.

The powerswitch I bought is a 1 pole ...

If you want to you could place it the other way around. Orientation is usually not important when it comes to a trim pot.

so I just replace it with the same value but an metal resistor instead.

I dont have to replace it with 5 metalresistors (1% x5)= matched resistors?
