just a friendly intrusion here:

On Friday January 16th, join your fellow man and woman for the first Gate to Moonbase Alpha of 2004, from 8pm-12am!

Gate to Moonbase Alpha: Infamous monthly series that presents ambient/experimental/electronic/improv/psych. music with visuals and more.

Music from:
Gank (avant/improvisation/jazz/punk/progressive/whacked spoken word, from Woz-electronics, accordion, flute, Ken Spector-bass, Bill Monson-percussion, and Mike Walsh-vocal stylings; http://www.missioncreep.com/gank/, gankism@yahoo.com),

Near (ambient at its core, peaks, valleys, warts, and all, from West Philly),

Farewell to Treaties (improvisation/noises, from West Philly).

+ Oil projections, slides, and film collage from renegade artist David Gerbstadt (http://www.gerbstadt.net).

+ Free vegetarian buffet by Chef Jeff.

Free admission for all ages.
