4- instrument midi drum pattern generator.
Based on the binary value of the numbers, and assignable to a a midi channel and note of your choice.

Very easy to make different drum patterns!

I was wondering if the patch could be simplified.
It takes up already all memory while it consists of simple gates, one would say...

I wondered the same thing. Your arrangement of gates is perfectly correct. It's just that the logic modules seem to take a disproportionate amount of resources.

I tried your basic idea, implemented another way, uses a little less dsp.

The OR gates can be replaced by 8 input mixers. this will reduce the memory load somewhat (to about 66%), and the cycles as well (to 13.2%).

Not as good as Ian's sugestion though :D
