Hi gang,

Thomas Henry's in this month's Nuts and Volts with an article about using spreadsheets for performing calculations for electronics. Even if you don't/can't get N&V, you can download about 3 megs worth of spreadsheets from their site here:

The link to the download is: http://nutsvolts.com/toc_Pages/oct06toc.htm

Lotsa useful stuff there!!

Cheers,
Scott

These are very handy. I have used the 566 VCO worksheet before and it saved some time in my component selections.

Another one in there that is especially handy is the LINEAR current source worksheet!

I have attached a list of all the files in this composite that Scott points you all to. You will need Microsoft EXCEL to run these spreadsheets.

Bill

I could never get Open Office Calc to work with SumProduct formulas, and the formating goes pearshaped when my circuits I drew are opened in Excel. But for simple adding up spreadsheets it's fine.
